The EWEF Way
The present Aid model for suffering communities in Third-Worlds is to a large extent broken! The locals need ‘Direct-Aid’ approach with self involvements in their own destiny. This means giving them the “Know-How” and the “Tools” to do the work for survival themselves! As it is now, these impoverished communities and infrastructure deprived regions continues to be poorer and suffer in spite of aid they receive from First-Worlds and other well-off regions. Their economy continues to shrink. And sadly more people continue to die needlessly.
In addition, those that survive become even MORE dependent on the on-going & never-ending traditional aid system & delivery models. Needed is a different way to fill this aid void effectively & efficiently. Essential part of that solution is …The EWEF way!
With the EWEF way, well meaning money leaves BETTER-off economies where it could better contribute to training local youths for skill-trade need, provide technological infrastructure needs, stronger economic development and growth in poorer communities.
When EWEF trains its students, it spends money here in Canada to provide appropriate training. It creates jobs in the form of both staff and partnerships in Canada. Moreover, newly-created EWEF Centers where students go to work after being trained are expected to become self-sufficient within two years. Moreover, student trainees are expected to complete their internships in Canada as free apprentices with local businesses. All of this means that the lion’s share of EWEF funding remains in Canada and contributes to the local economy while providing a new model for Third World development.
EWEF is breaking this cycle of dependence and handouts. Not by cutting off Aid, but by spending money here in Canada for creating independence and growth in the impoverished world. Train them here! This is "The EWEF WAY"!

Founder: ..."EWEF believes practices teaching to fish rather than giving fish; and so we strictly promote hands-up, NOT hands-out! Join us in this effort to make the world a better and peaceful place for all. Together as partners we fulfil the notion given us by the 'Most high'; of doing onto others as we would like done onto us; particularly to those less fortunate for no fault of thier own but natural circumstance; holding true the premise that we are indeed our brothers keeper!"
