EWEF Selection Process
EWEF works with community leaders and concerned parties to help find candidates who all believe have the dedication to return to the communities and provide good serve rather than exploiting their training. In some cases, EWEF gets extra-ordinary response in the number of applicants. Therefore where EWEF experiences such high number of candidates, raffles are drawn from the pool of applicants for fairness and integrity of the process. From these final grops of candidates, EWEF Staff then makes the final selection for sponsorship and trade training.
To keep standards high and as part of final selection process, EWEF staff also visits the targeted communities both to scout for EWEF centers as well as interview students that were selected to verify facts, suitability and the vital needs. Additionally, EWEF staff return to the centers and communities during the time of sponsorship, the period of the graduates EWEF training programs and service commitment period. This ensures that standards are maintained throughout the process, that needs are met and supports are maintained.

Founder: ..."EWEF believes practices teaching to fish rather than giving fish; and so we strictly promote hands-up, NOT hands-out! Join us in this effort to make the world a better and peaceful place for all. Together as partners we fulfil the notion given us by the 'Most high'; of doing onto others as we would like done onto us; particularly to those less fortunate for no fault of thier own but natural circumstance; holding true the premise that we are indeed our brothers keeper!"
